Mickey C. Ealy, aka Mickey C. Abner, age 78 of Hamilton passed away at Parkside Community Care on Saturday, January 5, 2008. She was born in Manchester, Kentucky on September 18, 1929 the daughter of Michael Richardson and Kate Steele. Mickey was raised by her uncle and his wife, Beige Caudill and Bess Carnahan. She was a teacher for 42 years, including first grade for 34 years at Harrison Elementary and schools in Kentucky. Mickey enjoyed bowling, fishing, playing cards, and piano playing.

She is survived by two sons, Terry (Judy) Wehmiller of Danville, Kentucky and Eddie (Sherry) Abner of Hamilton; five grandchildren, Mike (Angie) Ealy, Mickey (Rob) White, Terry (Donna) Wehmiller, Theresa Wehmiller, and Peyton Abner; eleven great-grandchildren, Robert, Mindi, Brady, Devin, Tanner, A.T., Ricky, Russell, Cameron, Nate, and Charity; a brother, Budgie (Janet) Steele of Melbourne, Florida; a sister, Mallie Taylor of London, Kentucky; and an adopted brother, John Caudill of Ocala, Florida. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Mickey Marlene Penick, and four sisters, Faye Hensley, Edith Roach, Aylene White and Stella Moran.

Funeral service were held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Thursday, January 10, 2008 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Michael Botts of Darrtown Baptist Church officiating. Burial followed in Fairmount Cemetery, Camden.

She is already missed but will live on forever in our hearts.
